As his skills sharpened, Jim connected with professional musicians and expanded his repertoire, performing everything from Tower of Power to the Doobie Brothers. Always eager to challenge himself, he later delved into Progressive and Classical Rock, focusing on the intricate sounds of Yes, Gentle Giant, and Focus.
For over a decade, Jim performed professionally across the Maritimes before relocating to British Columbia, where he teamed up with local talent to form the rock band Crisis. With Crisis, Jim rocked top 40 hits from bands like Cheap Trick, Van Halen, Toto, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, cementing his place as a versatile and accomplished guitarist.
Since joining The LowDown in October 2014, Jim has continued to bring his passion and perfectionism to every performance. His dedication to his craft and his love for the music make him an invaluable member of the band.
“Whether riffing on rock classics or adding vocal harmonies, Jim is the consummate professional, always ready to keep the music alive and electric.”
